PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its women's basketball weekly award winners for the week ending Feb. 15.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
RENEE WELLS • William Paterson University
Senior • Forward • Leonardo, NJ/Middletown South
Wells has been named NJAC Player of the Week for the third time after leading the Pioneers to a 2-0 conference week that secured the NJAC's top seed in the conference tournament, averaging 19.5 points on .500 shooting along with 4.5 steals, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. She opened the week with 16 points and six steals in a 74-38 home victory over Kean before delivering a game-high 23 points on .556 shooting (10-of-18) to go with six rebounds, three assists, and three steals in a 58-46 victory against Rutgers-Camden. The performance marked her seventh 20-point outing of the season and helped William Paterson tie the program record for single-season conference victories while claiming the conference's No. 1 seed heading into the NJAC Tournament. Wells is currently the NJAC’s second-leading scorer in conference play (17.5 ppg), and is also second in conference-only free throw percentage (82.5%).
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JADA JACOBS • William Paterson University

Jacobs claimed NJAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition for the third time in the last four weeks following a complete two-way performance in William Paterson's 2-0 conference week, averaging 4.5 steals, 8.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 7.0 points per game as the Pioneers secured the NJAC's top seed. She recorded a team-best 16 rebounds—11 defensive—while tallying nine steals across the two victories. Jacobs posted five steals, five rebounds, seven points, and a game-high eight assists in a 74-38 home win over Kean on Wednesday before following up with four steals, 11 rebounds, and three assists in a 58-46 victory against Rutgers-Camden on Friday. Her all-around excellence helped William Paterson tie the program record for single-season conference wins while claiming the conference's No. 1 tournament seed. Jacobs currently leads the NJAC in conference-only assists (3.7 apg) and is second in conference-only steals (3.3 spg).
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ZEMIRAH ENALLS • Stockton University

Enalls continued her lock on NJAC Rookie of the Week honors, earning the honor for the fourth straight week and sixth time overall after dominating the paint in Stockton's 2-0 conference week. She recorded her eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season while averaging 14.0 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. She shot a team-best .650 from the field (13-of-20), with 18 of her 29 total rebounds coming on the offensive glass. Enalls posted a 12-point, 12-rebound performance in Wednesday's win over Rutgers-Camden before following up with 16 points and 17 rebounds—including 13 offensive boards—in Friday's victory against Ramapo. The freshman leads the NJAC in conference-only rebounds (11.7 RPG), offensive rebounds (6.5 ORPG), and field goal percentage (59.4%).
