PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its women's indoor track and field weekly honors for the week ending Feb. 16.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
KAYLA KASS • Stockton University
Junior • Bayonne, N.J. / Bayonne
Kass is named NJAC Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week. She recorded an 800-meter time of 2:13.09 at the Widener Indoor Classic, finishing third in a field of 67 competitors, with only two Division I runners from Lehigh finishing ahead of her. Kass's performance ranks as the fastest 800-meter time in the NJAC and NCAA Metro Region, leading all conference competitors by more than four seconds. Nationally, her time ranks 19th in Division III.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
EMMA PETROLIA • Stockton University
Junior • New Milford, N.J. / New Milford
Petrolia earns her second NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honor in as many weeks. She posted an 11.26m (36' 11.5") triple jump at the Widener Indoor Classic, ranking first in the NJAC, fifth in the NCAA Metro Region, and 37th nationally. Her triple jump mark was a full one foot farther than any other NJAC competitor at the meet. Petrolia also competed in the long jump, recording a mark of 5.07m (16' 7.5").
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
TONNA OGINA • New Jersey City University

Ogina is named NJAC Rookie of the Week honor for the first time. Competing in her first indoor season, she recorded a high jump mark of 1.60m (5' 3"), placing fifth at the NYU DIII Invite and earning AARTFC qualification. Her high jump performance currently ranks second in the NJAC and third in the NCAA Metro Region. Ogina also excelled in the long jump, reaching 5.26m (17' 3"), ranking second in the NJAC and seventh in the Metro Region.
