INDIANAPOLIS --- Montclair State leads the New Jersey Athletic Conference in the first NCAA Division III men's soccer NPI rankings of the 2025 season, released Monday following games through Sunday, October 12.
Montclair State sits at number 27 nationally with an NPI of 55.729, while Rowan follows at 54th (54.277 NPI) and Stockton at 75th (53.390 NPI). ?The remaining NJAC teams in the national rankings include Rutgers-Camden at 88th (52.821 NPI), Ramapo at 116th (51.850 NPI), William Paterson at 119th (51.795 NPI), TCNJ at 175th (50.386 NPI), Rutgers-Newark at 179th (50.208 NPI), New Jersey City at 285th (47.495 NPI), and Kean at 287th (47.447 NPI).
In Region IV, the NJAC holds six of the top eight spots, with Montclair State ranking first, Rowan second, Stockton third, Rutgers-Camden fifth, Ramapo seventh, and William Paterson eighth. While regional rankings no longer play a role in NCAA tournament selection, the dominant regional showing demonstrates the conference's strength in men's soccer.
