PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its women's indoor track & field weekly honors for the week ending Jan. 25.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
LUCIA GARCIA-BELTRAN • The College of New Jersey
Senior • Hopewell, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central
Garcia-Beltran is named NJAC Track Athlete of the Week for the second time after posting elite times in both the 60 and 200 meters at the Liberty Open. The senior clocked 24.65 in the 200 meters to finish seventh overall, recording the fastest time in both the NJAC and Metro Region while ranking sixth in Division III. She also ran 7.68 in the 60-meter prelims, the second-fastest time in the NJAC and Metro Region this season, trailing only her own conference-leading 7.63 from two weeks earlier. Garcia-Beltran's currently ranks ninth in D3 in the 60 meters.

SARAH SCEPKOWSKI • The College of New Jersey

Scepkowski earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week recognition for the second time this year after capturing the high jump title at the Hound Classic with a personal-best clearance of 1.63 meters. The senior's mark stands as the best high jump in the NJAC this season, ranks second in the Metro Region, and ties for 13th in Division III. The performance also places Scepkowski among the top 10 in TCNJ program history while earning her a regional qualifying mark.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
DENIRAH JONES • Rowan University
Freshman • Camden, NJ/Woodbury
Jones claims her second NJAC Rookie of the Week honor after posting an impressive 7.81 in the 60-meter prelims at Bucknell's Gulden Invite on Saturday. The freshman's time ranks second in both the NJAC and Metro Region this season and places among the top 40 nationally in Division III. Jones also competed in the long jump with a mark of 5.11 meters; she currently ranks sixth in the NJAC and tied for 12
th in the region in the long jump.
