Gilman and Ioviero Capture Major Awards as Kean Earns Two All-ECAC Selections

DANBURY, Conn. (6/2/25) – Jason Gilman has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Pitcher of the Year, while Head Coach Neil Ioviero earns ECAC Coach of the Year honors as the Kean University baseball team earned two All-ECAC selections.

Gilman was named to the team along with Kyle Adorno.

Gilman makes his first All-ECAC appearance and becomes the seventh player to earn Pitcher of the Year honors, joining Joe Augustine (2007), Dan Zeffiro (2008), Mike Russo (2011), Ryan Zamorsky (2012), Kevin Herget (2013) and Collin Kiernan (2023).

Ioviero earns his first Coach of the Year honors from the ECAC. During his postseason run, Coach was named to the NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year and was tabbed D3Baseball Region IV Coach of the Year after leading his team to a seventh College World Series appearance.

Adorno makes his first All-ECAC appearance after being named the NJAC Player of the Year and collecting All-Region selections from both the ABCA and D3Baseball.
