GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan claimed three top regional honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in its year-end awards.

Jamir Brown was chosen the Metro Region Track Athlete of the Year with head coach Dustin Dimit selected Metro Coach of the Year and assistant coach Norm Tate the Metro Assistant Coach of the Year.

Brown capped his rookie and record-breaking season in the 110-meter hurdles with a dominating victory at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships, crossing the finish line in 13.75, narrowly missing the meet record of 13.72. It was the second national championship in a row for the Profs in the event (Kwaku Nkrumah). Earlier in the season, Brown shattered the NCAA DIII record in the event by running 13.60 at the NJAC Championships.

Dimit led the Profs to a third-place team finish at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships for the third consecutive season, scoring their most points since 1985 with 44.5. Rowan, which set program records in four events this season, won its tenth-straight team title at the NJAC Championships and amassed 17 All-American awards along with 33 All-Metro Region and 35 All-NJAC honors.

Tate, in his 17th year as assistant coach at Rowan, wins the award for the fourth time and second in a row, oversaw Pros student-athletes breaking NCAA DIII records in two events and added a No. 2 all-time ranking in a third event. His hurdlers, sprinters and horizontal jumpers combined for 29 of Rowan's 44.5 points at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships, led by a 1-2-7 finish in the 110 hurdles. His athletes also combined for 150 of Rowan's 313 points to win the NJAC team title. Tate was also named the 2025 USTFCCA NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field National Assistant Coach of the Year as well.
