PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's outdoor track & field weekly honors for the week ending March 29.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
NATE ADAMS • The College of New Jersey
Junior • Middlesex, N.J. / Middlesex
Adams claims NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after setting a new program record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.55 at the Emory Thrills in the Hills meet. The mark currently ranks second in NCAA Division III and first in the NJAC.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
ARRINGTON RHYM • Rowan University
Junior • Trenton, N.J. / Hamilton West
Rhym is named NJAC Field Athlete of the Week after winning the high jump at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University with a mark of 2.06 meters. The leap ties his outdoor personal record and currently ranks third in NCAA Division III.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
BRYANT NELSON • Stockton University
Freshman • Millville, N.J. / Millville
Nelson earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after posting a personal-best 13.94 meters in the triple jump at the Danny Curran Invitational, finishing fifth among 35 competitors. The mark ranks 24th in NCAA Division III, second in the NJAC, and leads all Division III freshmen in both the conference and the Metro Region.
