EWING, N.J. - TCNJ baseball's Ryan Goodall has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week, as released by the organization this morning. This is the graduate student's second time earning the national recognition and first since 2021.
Goodall enjoyed a dominant stretch at the plate for the Lions in which he slashed .559/.789/1.667 with three home runs and 12 RBIs. The Toms River, N.J.-native also drew a team-high 10 walks and scored five runs to help lead TCNJ to a 3-1 week with wins over Rutgers-Camden and Rutgers-Newark.
The graduate student opened his week going a combined 2-4 with three runs, two homers and four RBIs in a doubleheader against the Scarlet Raptors before going 3-5 with another homer and eight RBIs in a sweep of the Scarlet Raiders. Goodall saved his best for last, hitting his fourth career grand slam and first since 2023 in a 20-2 rout of Rutgers-Newark.
The Lions are back in action Thursday, April 10 to take on Stockton. First pitch of the NJAC twin bill – with both games to be played at Trenton Thunder Ballpark – is set for 2 p.m.
