NJAC Athletes, Coaches Haul in Four Major Region Awards; 49 Named USTFCCCA All-Region

NEW ORLEANS --- Rowan’s Jason Agyemang, Dustin Dimit, and Norm Tate, along with Montclair State’s Hiven Biffot, were honored with major Metro Region awards by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Agyemang was tabbed the Metro Region Track Athlete of the Year and Biffot earned Metro Region Field Athlete of the Year accolades.

Dimit reeled in another Metro Region Coach of the Year honor while Tate added another Metro Region Assistant Coach of the Year nod.

Additionally, a total of 49 NJAC student-athletes earned All-Region honors this season.

Agyemang, who hails from North Plainfield, New Jersey, won the 60-meter hurdles at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships. He clocked 7.76 in Rochester, New York, narrowly missing the meet record by 0.01 seconds. In doing so, though, Agyemang became the third fastest performer in NCAA DIII history.

Biffot, who hails from France, finished third in the triple jump at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships. He bounded a PR 15.10m (49-6½) to earn First-Team All-America honors. Earlier in the season, Biffot took top individual honors in that event at the AARTF Indoor Championships and earned third at the NJAC Indoor Championships.

Dimit, in his 11th year as Head Coach at Rowan, led the Profs to a third-place finish at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships, earning four First-Team All-America honors led by national 60-meter hurdle champion Jason Agyemang. Rowan won the team title at the NJAC Indoor Championships, winning 11 events, as well as the AARTFC Indoor Championships.

Tate, in his 17th year as assistant coach at Rowan, coached 10 Profs to earn All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships – four as part of a 1-2-4-5 finish in the 60-meter hurdles led by Jason Agyemang. That group of hurdlers have all-time DIII indoor rankings of No. 1, No. 3, No. 7 and No. 11, with Jamir Brown holding the national record at 7.72.
