TCNJ's Rychkov, MSU's Biffot, Rowan's Parker Earn NJAC Men's Indoor Weekly Honors

PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's indoor track & field weekly honors for the week ending Dec. 7.
 

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
MAXIM RYCHKOV • The College of New Jersey
Sophomore • Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville
 
Rychkov was named NJAC Track Athlete of the Week after a record-breaking performance at the TCNJ Indoor Open. He set a new school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.77 seconds, the fourth-fastest time in NCAA Division III after the opening weekend. He followed by breaking another school record in the 300 meters, clocking 33.54 seconds for the top time in Division III and the fourth-fastest time in Division III history. Rychkov capped his dominant meet by anchoring the 4x400-meter relay with a split of 48.026, helping TCNJ post the third-fastest time in Division III.
 
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
HIVEN BIFFOT • Montclair State University
Sophomore • France/JP Stevens
 
Biffot earned NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after making school history at the TCNJ Season Opener. He recorded a triple jump of 15.11 meters to set a new Montclair State school record and post an indoor career best. The mark is the top performance in the nation after the first weekend of competition.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ANTHONY PARKER • Rowan University
Freshman • Salem, NJ/Salem
 
Parker claimed NJAC Rookie of the Week recognition after winning the long jump in his collegiate debut at the Fasttrack Invite. His leap of 7.08 meters ranks as the 13th-best mark in NCAA Division III after the opening weekend of competition in a strong debut.
