NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Jason Agyemang has been named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III National Athlete of the Week, the first in indoor team history, announced on Monday.

The junior had quite the weekend up at the AARTFC Championships, spearheading a Prof-laden 60 meter final with a #3 Division III record mark of 7.80. Jamir Brown, Kwaku Nkrumah, and Marquise Young all clocked in under eight seconds as well. #4 Rowan claimed the overall team title with 94 points.

Victoria Brewster of Houghton, who ran the eighth-fastest time in Division III in the 60 meters at the same AARTFC meet, was also honored.

The foursome will join seven other Profs at this weekend's Division III Indoor Championships held at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, NY beginning on Friday. Nazareth University will serve as hosts.
