PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's indoor track & field weekly honors for the week ending Dec. 14.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
JACOB DINERMAN • Rutgers University-Camden
Junior • Haddon Township, NJ/Haddon Township
Dinerman earned Track Athlete of the Week honors after breaking a 13-year-old program record in the 3,000-meter run at Thursday's Wagner Seahawk Shootout at Ocean Breeze. The junior finished sixth out of 58 competitors with a time of 8:37.41 to establish the new Rutgers-Camden standard in the event. His time currently ranks 22
nd in NCAA Division III and is the second-fastest in both the NJAC and the Metro Region.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
ETHAN ZACAROLLI • Farmingdale State College
Freshman • Hillsdale, NY/Taconic Hills
Zacarolli claimed Field Athlete of the Week recognition after setting a school record in the heptathlon at the Art Kadish Elm City Challenge in New Haven, CT. The freshman posted a winning total of 4,550 points to break the previous program record of 4,038 set by Nicholas Lourenco in 2023. Zacarolli's performance ranks No. 11 nationally early in the 2025-26 season and stands as the top mark in the NJAC.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ZAL CHARLES • Ramapo College
Freshman • Jersey City, NJ/Infinity Institute
Charles was named Rookie of the Week after clearing 1.95 meters in the high jump at Thursday's Wagner Seahawk Shootout at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. The freshman finished fifth overall while qualifying for the AARTFC Indoor Championships and moved to No. 4 on Ramapo's indoor program list in the event. His jump was also the sixth-highest in the NJAC so far this year.
