PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's swimming & diving weekly honors for the week ending Nov. 23.
SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Potts earned NJAC Swimmer of the Week honors for the third time this year after leading Salisbury with seven medals at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, helping the Sea Gulls win their second straight title. He captured five gold medals in the 50 free (20.17), 100 fly (48.50), 200 medley relay (leadoff, 1:28.62), 400 medley relay (leadoff, 3:16.35), and 400 free relay (second leg, 3:00.84), while earning silver in the 800 free relay (leadoff, 6:49.81) and bronze in the 100 free (45.67). Potts hit the NCAA 'B' cut mark in the 50 free, 100 fly, and his 100 back split of the 400 medley relay, with both medley relays also hitting NCAA 'B' cut times. His 50 free ranks seventh in NCAA Division III, his 100 back is sixth nationally, and his 100 fly sits ninth in Division III. His 50 back split of the 200 medley relay is the fastest in the NJAC this year and sits tied for fourth in D3, while the 400 and 800 free relays are among the top 12 nationally.

Kov claimed NJAC Diver of the Week recognition for the second straight week after hitting NCAA qualifying marks on both boards at the TCNJ Invitational. He won the 1-meter competition with a score of 512.00 and placed second on the 3-meter board with 499.40. Both 11-dive scores rank first in the NJAC, with his 1-meter mark sitting third in Division III and his 3-meter score ranking fifth nationally.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
OWEN MAHONEY • Salisbury University
Freshman • Arnold, MD/Broadneck
Mahoney is the third Sea Gull this year to earn NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after medaling three times and scoring a team high-tying 62 points at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. He won gold in both the 500 free (4:32.96) and 1,650 free (15:58.96), while also earning bronze in the 200 free (1:41.00). His 500 free time ranks first in the NJAC and 17th in Division III, while his 1,650 free sits second in the conference and 15th nationally.
