Third-Seeded Stockton Sweeps Into NJAC Volleyball Semifinals

GALLOWAY, NJ --- Third-seeded Stockton University swept sixth-seeded Ramapo College 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-14) in the NJAC Women's Volleyball Championship quarterfinal on November 11, 2025, at the Sports Center in Galloway.
 
The Ospreys (21-8, 6-2 NJAC) dominated from start to finish, hitting .403 as a team while limiting the Roadrunners (17-11, 3-5 NJAC) to just a .079 hitting percentage. Stockton advances to Thursday's semifinal at second-seeded Rowan.
 
Kate Louer led Stockton's offensive attack with 11 kills on 23 attempts for a .348 hitting percentage. Camille De La Torre added eight kills while hitting a remarkable .467, and Rileigh Wilson contributed six kills with a .333 efficiency.
 
Laila Newborn was nearly flawless at the net, recording five kills on just six attempts for an .833 hitting percentage. Jalynn Grant added four kills on six attempts for a .667 efficiency, while Olivia Magro chipped in four kills while hitting .429.
 
Kristen Burton and Regan Mendick orchestrated Stockton's balanced attack, combining for 32 assists. Burton dished out 17 assists while Mendick added 15 to go along with three service aces and five digs.
 
McKenna Ritchie anchored the Ospreys' defense with a match-high 11 digs. Helen Murray was also active on the service line with five aces.
 
For Ramapo, Valentina Palen led the offensive effort with eight kills. Asya Akar added six kills, and Jasmine Rolle contributed four kills with a .375 hitting percentage.
 
Katie Bishop distributed 19 assists for the Roadrunners.
 
Stockton's dominance was evident from the opening serve, as the Ospreys hit .625 in the first set with 11 kills on just 16 attempts and only one error. The momentum continued in the second set where Stockton hit .346, and the Ospreys maintained their efficiency in the third set with a .343 hitting percentage.
 
The Ospreys held a 39-22 advantage in kills and committed only eight attack errors.
 
Stockton also dominated at the service line with 12 aces, and held a 33-24 edge in team digs.
 
With the victory, Stockton advances to face second-seeded Rowan in Thursday's semifinal.
