INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (11/16/25) - After capturing their first NJAC title since 2018, the Kean University women's volleyball team drew the Lasers of Lasell University in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament.

The 29-5 Cougars will face the Lasers at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. The Jumbos are the site host for the regional, which will welcome East Texas Baptist from the American Southwest Conference, Maine Maritime from the Little East Conference, Emory University from the University Athletic Association, Springfield College from the NEWMAC and Bridgewater State from the MASCAC.

Kean swept Stockton to capture their third NJAC championship under Head Coach Don Perkins on Saturday. The Lasers won their third consecutive GNAC title with a 3-1 victory over Regis College on Saturday.

The winner of Kean and Lasell will face the winner of Tufts and Bridgewater State. The other half of the regional has ETBU squaring off with Maine Maritime and Emory taking on Springfield.
