PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's swimming & diving weekly honors for the week ending Oct. 26.
SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
ANDREW KIDCHOB • The College of New Jersey
Senior • Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford
Kidchob earns his first NJAC Swimmer of the Week honor of the season after he turned in a nationally elite performance during TCNJ's season-opening meet against Monmouth, posting some of the fastest times in NCAA Division III. He touched first in the 100 backstroke (49.80), claiming the fifth-fastest time in the nation, and placed second in the 200 backstroke (1:52.01) with the sixth-fastest time nationally. The senior also led off the 200 medley relay (1:30.71) that posted the third-fastest time in Division III, while his 23.21 split ranks as the eighth-fastest 50 backstroke in the nation. All four performances stand as NJAC top times.

GABE BEVERINI • The College of New Jersey
Freshman • Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge
Beverini is named NJAC Rookie of the Week after he made an immediate impact in his debut meet as a Lion, delivering multiple nationally-ranked performances against Monmouth. The freshman posted the fourth-fastest time in Division III in the 200 IM (1:52.53), earning second place while recording the top time in the NJAC. He added fourth place in the 100 breaststroke (58.15) and third in the 200 breaststroke (2:10.09), with both swims ranking second in the conference behind only fellow Lion Tyler McGeehan. Beverini capped his outstanding debut by anchoring the 400 free relay (3:06.99) that finished with the ninth-fastest time in the nation and the top mark in the NJAC.
