PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's swimming & diving weekly honors for the week ending Oct. 19.
SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
MASON POTTS • Salisbury University
Sophomore • Lansdale, PA/North Penn
Potts is named NJAC Swimmer of the Week after a strong season debut for Salisbury. He won four gold medals to help the Sea Gulls best Marymount (Va.) on Saturday, including solo victories in the 100m free (53.06) and 100m backstroke (57.20). The sophomore was also part of two winning relay teams, anchoring the 200m medley relay (1:43.80) and the 200m free relay with a pool-record time of 1:34.53. His 100m back time when converted to yards ranks as the fastest in the NJAC and 19
th in NCAA Division III. His converted 100 free time is the fourth-fastest in the NJAC so far this year.

CAMERON BYRD • Salisbury University
Freshman • Bear, DE/Saint Mark’s
Byrd is named NJAC Rookie of the Week after he impressed in his first collegiate action to help Salisbury best Marymount (Va.), winning three gold medals and one silver. The freshman secured solo victories in the 400-meter freestyle (4:18.51) and 200m butterfly (2:08.39) while finishing runner-up in the 200m individual medley (2:11.38). He also helped the Sea Gulls take the 200 medley relay (1:43.80). Byrd’s times in the 200m fly and 200m IM when converted to yards rank him among the top 50 in NCAA Division III and are the second- and fourth-fastest respectively in the NJAC.
