Rowan Leads NJAC in First 2025 Field Hockey NPI Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference features two teams in the top 30 of the first NCAA Division III field hockey NPI rankings of the 2025 season, released Monday following games through Sunday, October 12.

Rowan leads the NJAC at number 17 nationally with an NPI of 63.491 and TCNJ follows at number 28 (59.577 NPI). The remaining NJAC teams in the national rankings include Stockton at 55th overall (54.053 NPI), Kean at 69th (52.212 NPI), Montclair State at 80th (51.043 NPI), Ramapo at 124th (44.553 NPI), and William Paterson at 126th (44.16 NPI).

In Region IV, the NJAC holds four of the top nine spots, with Rowan ranking second, TCNJ third, Stockton seventh, and Kean ninth. While regional rankings no longer play a role in NCAA tournament selection, the strong regional showing demonstrates the conference's competitive depth.

With conference play intensifying over the coming weeks, these rankings will continue to shift as NJAC teams compete for positioning heading into the NCAA tournament selection process.
