MSU's Kronow and Lauber, TCNJ's Charles Earn First NJAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors of 2026

PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its women's soccer weekly honors for the week ending Sept. 6.

 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ISABELL KRONOW • Montclair State University
Junior • Forward • Branchburg, NJ/Somerville
 
Kronow has been named the first NJAC Offensive Player of the Week of the 2026 season after a dominant week that helped Montclair State open the season unbeaten. The junior forward recorded a hat trick in the season opener against Penn State Berks, then assisted on the game-tying goal in a draw against Hartford before converting the game-winning penalty kick in a win at Johnson & Wales. Kronow finished the week with nine points on four goals and an assist across three games.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ISABELLA CHARLES • The College of New Jersey
Sophomore • Defender • Edison, NJ/Edison
 
Charles has been named the first NJAC Defensive Player of the Week of the 2026 season after anchoring an undefeated 2-0 week at center back for the Lions while also making an offensive impact. She played every minute of both matches, leading a defensive unit that limited Ursinus to just five shots (two on goal) and stifled 23rd-ranked Penn State-Harrisburg to just two shots total (one on goal) in a shutout. Charles also scored the opening goal in a 5-1 win over Ursinus, then netted the first goal in the win over Penn State-Harrisburg, which held up as the game-winner.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
KAYLEE LAUBER • Montclair State University
Freshman • Forward • Branchburg, NJ/Somerville
 
Lauber has been named the first NJAC Rookie of the Week of the 2026 season after a standout debut week that helped Montclair State open the season unbeaten. The freshman forward scored twice in a season-opening win over Penn State Berks, then netted the game-tying goal in the second half of a draw against Hartford. Lauber finished the week with three goals and six points across three games.
