PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its women's outdoor track & field weekly honors for the week ending April 26.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
SARAH SCEPKOWSKI • The College of New Jersey
Senior • Garwood, NJ / Arthur L. Johnson
Scepkowski is named the final NJAC Track Athlete of the Week of the season after posting a personal-best time in the 100-meter hurdles at the Rick McCorkle Invitational. The senior clocked a 14.84 to finish fourth at the meet, a mark that ranks third in the NJAC and sixth in the Metro Region this season.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
JOIE BUXTON • Stockton University
Freshman • Galloway, NJ / Absegami
Buxton claims the final NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honor of the season after a standout performance at the Penn Relays. The freshman threw the javelin 42.63 meters to finish fifth among 32 competitors, serving as the top Division III finisher in the event and besting all four Division I throwers below her. The mark is just shy of her season best and she remains the top javelin thrower in the Metro Region this season.

Freshman • Spotswood, NJ / Spotswood
Onuska garners the final NJAC Rookie of the Week recognition of the season after a strong showing at the Rick McCorkle Invitational. The freshman launched the javelin 39.94 meters for a season best, placing second in the field at the meet and ranking fourth in both the NJAC and Metro Region this season.
