PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its women's lacrosse weekly award winners for the week ending Feb. 22.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MARISSA LUCCA • The College of New Jersey

Lucca opens the 2026 season by earning the first NJAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honor, delivering a historic performance in TCNJ's 12-8 season-opening win over Catholic on Feb. 21. The senior recorded six goals and three assists — including a hat trick and two assists in the first 12 minutes alone — as the Lions raced out to a 6-1 lead. Lucca's milestone point came on a goal early in the third quarter, making her the 23rd player in program history to eclipse 200 career points. She scored her six goals on just eight shots and added four ground balls.

Soltys announced her arrival in college lacrosse in stunning fashion, earning the first NJAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season after a record-breaking collegiate debut. In Stockton's opening win over Neumann, she set a school record with nine caused turnovers to go along with eight ground balls and four assists. She followed that up with three more caused turnovers, three ground balls and her first two career goals in an 18-2 rout of Mt. St. Mary's, finishing the week with a team-leading 12 caused turnovers and 11 ground balls in a 2-0 start.

Freshman • Attack • Manahawkin, NJ / Southern Regional
Cassidy earns the first NJAC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honor of the 2026 season after a strong collegiate debut in Ramapo's 21-4 season-opening win over King's on Feb. 21. The freshman attacked from the start, posting four goals and an assist to go along with two ground balls and a caused turnover in her first career game.
