Met Basketball Writers Release

NEW YORK --- Montclair State freshman forward Alyssa Craigwell was selected to the First Team All-Met Division III Women's Basketball team to headline a total of five NJAC players who earned All-Met honors, announced on April 15.

William Paterson graduate guard Brianna Smith and Kean senior forward/center Maddison Vaughn earned Third Team accolades. MSU graduate guard Sophie Beneventine and senior forward/center Olivia Vero were tabbed honorable mention.

Being named All-Met is unique in that there are 35 colleges and universities and more than 500 players under the MBWA Division III women’s umbrella.
 
The 2024-25 All-Met teams will be honored at the 92nd MBWA Haggerty Awards dinner on Thursday, April 24, at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center in Tarrytown, NY. The Haggerty dinner is the longest running, media-managed college basketball awards program in the United States.
