PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its women's basketball weekly award winners for the week ending Nov. 9.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALYSSA CRAIGWELL • Montclair State University
Sophomore • Forward • Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus
Craigwell earned the first NJAC Player of the Week honor of the 2025-26 season after leading Montclair State to a 62-56 season-opening victory over Albright on Friday. The reigning NJAC Rookie of the Year, Craigwell opened her sophomore season with a 9-for-14 effort from the floor for 18 points while adding a game-high seven steals, six rebounds, and a block in the winning effort.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALEXIS STROLLO • Montclair State University
Senior • Guard • Nutley, NJ/Paramus Catholic
Strollo claimed the first-ever NJAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week recognition after anchoring a defense that forced 33 turnovers in Montclair's 62-56 season-opening win against Albright. In addition to keeping the opposition off-kilter, the senior led the team with three blocks while adding two steals and contributing 17 points and three rebounds in the victory.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ZEMIRAH ENALLS • Stockton University
Freshman • Forward • Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat
Enalls was named the first NJAC Rookie of the Week of the season after posting a double-double in her first collegiate game, leading Stockton to a 65-54 victory over Penn State-Harrisburg. The freshman paced the team with 19 points and 11 rebounds (including nine offensive boards) while shooting 61.5 percent from the floor in just 18 minutes of action. Enalls also contributed two blocks, one steal, and one assist in the winning effort.
