Rowan Sweeps NJAC Men's Indoor Weekly Honors; Clevenger, Brown, Parker Honored

PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's indoor track & field weekly honors for the week ending Jan. 25.
 

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
SETH CLEVENGER • Rowan University
Junior • Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield
 
Clevenger is named NJAC Track Athlete of the Week after shattering two school records and posting the top Division III times in the nation this season in his Rowan debut. The junior ran 4:02.76 in the mile at Columbia's Dr. Sander Scorcher on Friday, breaking the Rowan record and setting the top time nationally this season. He now also ranks tenth all-time in D3 history in the mile. He returned the following day to clock 7:54.87 in the 3,000 meters, establishing another school record with the third-fastest time in Division III history and the top mark in the nation this season.

DAVID BROWN • Rowan University
Freshman • Edison, NJ/Edison
 
Brown earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week recognition after setting the top Division III mark in the nation in the high jump. The freshman cleared 2.11 meters to match the meet’s highest jump and place second at Columbia's Dr. Sander Scorcher, finishing only behind a Division I jumper on a tiebreaker.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ANTHONY PARKER • Rowan University
Freshman • Salem, NJ/Salem
 
Parker claims NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after breaking Rowan's school record in the long jump at Columbia's Dr. Sander Scorcher. The freshman leaped 7.35 meters to surpass the previous school mark set in 2023 by a hundredth of a meter. Parker's jump ranks third in Division III and stands as the top mark in the NJAC so far this season.
