SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
JESSICA FELSKE • United States Merchant Marine Academy
Senior • East Troy, WI/Waukesha South Academy
 
Felske earned Swimmer of the Week honors after winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.77 over Division II swimmers from Adelphi in Thursday's narrow seven-point home loss to the Panthers. The senior sprinter also touched in 26.54 in the 50 freestyle and served as the second leg (breaststroke) of the 200 medley relay that finished in 1:55.25, posting a 50-yard breaststroke split of 31.35.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ADAYA BOURNE • William Paterson University
Freshman • Saunders, Sint Maarten/Milton Peters College
 
Bourne was named Rookie of the Week after capturing two individual victories in Monday's home meet against John Jay. The freshman won the 50 freestyle with a personal-record time of 25.77 before claiming the 500 freestyle in a season-best 5:33.73. Bourne's performances helped lead the Pioneers to victory in the dual meet.
