Ramapo's Maher, Rowan's Giordano, NJCU's Ramirez Earn NJAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its final women's soccer weekly honors of the 2025 regular season.
 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
AMBER MAHER • Ramapo College
Junior • Forward • Rahway, NJ/Rahway
 
Maher earns the final NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honor of the 2025 regular season. She wrapped up her junior year by recording both goals in the Ramapo’s 2-0 conference victory over Rutgers-Newark in the final game of the regular season. She put all four of her shots on goal, including the game-winner, and both of her tallies were unassisted. Maher started all 17 games for the Roadrunners this year, leading the team in scoring with seven points on three goals and one assist.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JULIANNA GIORDANO • Rowan University
Senior • Back • Millville, NJ/Millville
 
Giordano is named the final NJAC Defensive Player of the Week of 2025 to wrap up the regular season. In the regular season finale, she scored the game-tying goal with less than 10 minutes remaining in regulation to secure a crucial 2-2 draw at TCNJ. The goal helped Rowan clinch the No. 2 seed in the NJAC playoffs including a first-round bye. The senior defender played all 90 minutes in the conference matchup. She was the anchor of a Rowan defense that gave up just four goals to conference opponents and just seven overall in the regular season.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ISABELLA RAMIREZ • New Jersey City University
Freshman • Forward • Elmwood Park, NJ/Elmwood Park Memorial
 
Ramirez is selected as the final NJAC Rookie of the Week of the regular season. She put together a strong performance in NJCU's 4-2 conference win over William Paterson in the regular season finale that clinched the Gothic Knights a spot in the NJAC tournament. The freshman recorded a goal and an assist for three points while playing 82 minutes in the victory. She went on to notch the game-winning score in a 1-0 quarterfinal win over Rutgers-Camden over the weekend. Ramirez is NJCU’s third-leading scorer this season with 15 points on five goals and five assists.
