PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its field hockey weekly honors for the week ending Sept. 13.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JADYN HUFF • The College of New Jersey
Senior • Forward • Burlington, NJ / Princeton Day
Huff earned NJAC Offensive Player of the Week after erupting for all three of TCNJ's goals — each coming in the second half — in a 3-0 win at Haverford. The senior forward opened the scoring by converting a penalty stroke in the third quarter, then added two more tallies to complete her third career hat trick, her first since 2024. Huff now leads the Lions and ranks second in the NJAC with five goals on the season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BRIGITTE RACEY • The College of New Jersey
Graduate Student • Goaltender • Ashburn, VA / Broad Run
Racey claimed NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after a dominant two-game stretch between the pipes. The graduate netminder set a career high with 17 saves for her 17th career shutout in a 3-0 win at Haverford, then turned aside 14 more shots in a road test against a No. 4 nationally ranked Johns Hopkins squad. Her 31 saves across the two games marked the most in back-to-back contests in program history, with Racey conceding just one goal in the run of play all week — Hopkins' other three scores came on penalty strokes. Racey leads the NJAC in goals against average (1.17), save percentage (.881), and shutouts (2).
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
OLIVIA NICOLUCCI • Rowan University
Freshman • Forward • Marlton, NJ / Cherokee
Nicolucci has been named NJAC Rookie of the Week after scoring the first two goals of her career in Rowan's 7-0 win over Muhlenberg, the Profs' first victory of the season. The freshman forward netted the first goal and eventual game-winner at the 39:10 mark, breaking a scoreless deadlock to open the floodgates for the Profs. She added another tally at 50:41 to put the Profs up 3-0 and was the first of five Rowan goals in the final 10 minutes of play.
