PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its field hockey weekly honors for the week ending Sept. 20.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ASHLEY McGOUGH • SUNY New Paltz
Junior • Forward • Carmel, NY/Carmel
McGough has been named NJAC Offensive Player of the Week after authoring one of the week's biggest wins, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over No. 23 Ithaca for the program’s first ranked win since 2024. The junior forward found the net twice in under a minute – at both 24:11 and 25:04 – to put the Hawks up 2-0 in the eventual 2-1 win. She opened the week with an assist in a hard-fought 2-1 loss to No. 9 Stevens, giving her five points on the week and a signature win over a nationally ranked opponent. She currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC with three goals this season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
OLIVIA WINTRODE • Ramapo College
Freshman • Goalkeeper • Virginia Beach, VA/Kempsville
Wintrode earned NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after turning in a flawless week in net across two wins. The first-year goalie entered in the fourth quarter of a tied game against Hartford and came up with seven stops in 23 minutes spanning the final quarter and overtime, as Ramapo won on an overtime penalty stroke. She added three more stops in a clean sheet against Gwynedd Mercy. Wintrode currently ranks third among NJAC goalies with an .822 save percentage.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
STELLA DEVLIN • Stockton University
Freshman • Midfielder • Millville, NJ/St. Joseph's Academy
Devlin has been named NJAC Rookie of the Week after posting the first multi-goal week of her career, tallying two goals and two assists for six points as Stockton went 2-0. She notched her first collegiate goal and assist – plus her first career defensive save – in a win over Washington College, then added another goal and helper in a win over Alvernia to help pace the Ospreys' offense. Devlin currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in points per game (2.00).
