PITMAN, NJ --- D3football.com released its 2026 preseason poll, with two NJAC programs earning national rankings and a third receiving votes.
 
Salisbury, which went 10-2 last season, checked in at No. 17 in the poll, while Christopher Newport, which finished 10-1, was ranked No. 18. Rowan, which went 8-2-1 in 2025, received 11 votes.
 
Christopher Newport, Salisbury and Rowan finished as the top three teams in last year's NJAC standings.
 
North Central (Ill.) was the unanimous preseason No. 1 selection, receiving all 25 first-place votes. Bethel was ranked No. 2, followed by Mount Union at No. 3.
 
The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors and media members from across the country and is published weekly throughout the season.
