PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its football weekly honors for the week ending Sept. 13.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DIANTE WILSON • Montclair State University
Senior • Running Back • Union, NJ / Union
Wilson earned NJAC Offensive Player of the Week after carrying Montclair State's offense in a 30-28 win at Lycoming, decided by a walk-off field goal. The senior back carried 31 times for a career-high 175 yards and three touchdowns — opening the scoring with a 31-yard burst that capped an 8-play, 93-yard drive. Down 21-13 heading into the fourth, Wilson engineered a big comeback, first with a 3-yard TD run to cap a 96-yard drive at 10:39 to get within 21-19. After a Lycoming score, Wilson brought the Red Hawks within one at 28-27with 4:17 remaining to set up teammate Brendan McGonigle’s walkoff winning field goal. Wilson currently leads the NJAC with 126.0 rushing yards per game.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
NOAH MAMMERI • Kean University
Junior • Linebacker • Manasquan, NJ / Manasquan
Mammeri claimed NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after leading Kean's defense with a game-high 13 tackles – including seven solo stops – a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a huge 51-17 win over SUNY Maritime. The junior linebacker also chipped in a tackle for a loss of two yards to round out a complete effort. Mammeri currently ranks second in the NJAC in both tackles per game (11.0) and total solo stops (13).
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BRENDAN McGONIGLE • Montclair State University
Fifth Year • Kicker • Ocean City, NJ / Ocean City
McGonigle has been named NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week after drilling the game-winning field goal as time expired to lift Montclair State to a thrilling 30-28 win at Lycoming. He hit field goals of 46 and 37 yards in the middle quarters before capping a 13-play, 59-yard drive with a 21-yard walk-off as the clock hit zero. He also punted twice for 118 yards, a 59.0-yard average. McGonigle has now made four field goals this season, the most in the NJAC.

BRAYLON ADDY • Christopher Newport University
Freshman • Wide Receiver • Bristow, VA / Patriot
Addy garners NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week after hauling in both of his catches for touchdowns in Christopher Newport's 37-7 win over Western Connecticut State. The freshman wideout scored his first career touchdown on a nine-yard strike in the second quarter, then added a 27-yard scoring grab in the fourth as the Captains improved to 2-0.

Freshman • Defensive Back • Lynchburg, VA / Heritage
Miller has been selected as NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week after logging three tackles – including two solo stops – a pass breakup and a fumble recovery in Christopher Newport's 37-7 win over Western Connecticut State. The freshman defensive back helped anchor a Captains defense that improved to 2-0 on the young season.
