PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its women's tennis weekly award winners for the week ending April 12.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
GABBY ALBERT • Rutgers-Camden
Freshman • Greenwich, NJ / Cumberland Regional
Albert has been named NJAC Player of the Week after going 4-0 across singles and doubles in a pair of conference victories to open Rutgers-Camden's NJAC schedule. At William Paterson on Friday, she won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles and teamed with her sister Bella for a 6-1 victory at first doubles. She followed that up at Stockton on Saturday with a 6-3, 6-0 win at first singles and a 6-0 doubles victory alongside Bella. Rutgers-Camden won both matches 6-1.

Albert garners NJAC Rookie of the Week recognition after a flawless week in Rutgers-Camden's conference-opening wins over William Paterson and Stockton. She did not drop a single game at fourth singles, posting 6-0, 6-0 victories at both William Paterson on Friday and Stockton on Saturday. She also partnered with her sister Gabby at first doubles, contributing to a 6-1 win at William Paterson and a 6-0 win at Stockton. Rutgers-Camden won both matches 6-1.
