PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its softball weekly award winners for the week ending April 12.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CARLEE IANNONE • Montclair State University
Senior • Infielder • Middletown, NJ / Middletown South
Iannone has been named NJAC Player of the Week for the second time this year after batting .444 with eight hits and six RBI during a 4-2 week for the Red Hawks. She was at her best during conference play, going 6-for-11 (.545) with three RBI across four games against William Paterson and 15th-ranked Stockton. Against the Ospreys on Saturday, she went 4-for-6 with an RBI and recorded two of her four doubles on the week, helping Montclair earn a split at the current NJAC frontrunner. She also drove in two runs in the opener of Montclair's conference series at William Paterson on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a double in a 3-2 victory. Iannone finished the week committing just a single error across 41 chances in the field.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
CARLY MOCKENHAUPT • Montclair State University

Mockenhaupt claimed NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors after picking up two crucial conference wins and finishing the week with a 0.47 ERA across 15 innings. She opened the week with eight innings of two-run ball, striking out eight batters in a 3-2 extra-inning victory over William Paterson on Tuesday. She then delivered her fourth shutout of the season on Saturday, tossing all seven innings and allowing just five hits in a 3-0 win at 15th-ranked Stockton. Mockenhaupt held the Ospreys to a .208 batting average on the day. She currently ranks fourth among NJAC pitchers in conference-only ERA (1.09).
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
EMMA DOBKIN • Rowan University
Freshman • P/DP • Lawrence, NJ / Lawrence
Dobkin earned NJAC Rookie of the Week recognition after a standout performance in a 4-0 NJAC week for 23rd-ranked Rowan. The freshman contributed both at the plate and in the circle, batting .571 with eight hits, six RBI and five runs scored across four games. Her best outing came in the first game of a doubleheader at NJCU on Saturday, when she went 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBI. She also spun two scoreless innings of relief in the nightcap, allowing just one hit and striking out one batter. Dobkin currently ranks fifth in conference-only OPS (1.246) and seventh in conference-only slugging percentage (.722).
ROOKIE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
EMILY LESHIK • Montclair State University
Freshman • Pitcher • Mickleton, NJ / Kingsway Regional
Leshik garners NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week recognition after a pair of scoreless relief outings totaling 6.2 innings. She tossed five shutout innings against FDU-Florham on Wednesday, allowing just three hits and striking out four batters. She followed that up with 1.2 scoreless frames at 15th-ranked Stockton on Saturday, not allowing a hit while striking out three. Leshik did not allow a run across either appearance to finish the week with a 0.00 ERA.
