PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its baseball weekly award winners for the week ending March 29.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MASON DORSEY • Rowan University
Senior • Outfield • Hammonton, N.J. / St. Augustine Prep
Dorsey has been named NJAC Player of the Week after batting .571 (8-for-14) with five RBI, four runs scored, and two doubles across a 4-0 week for 13th-ranked Rowan, which has now won seven straight. In the Profs' 11-2 victory at Swarthmore, he drove in two runs with a double. He followed with a two-run effort in a 19-0 win over Cairn before going 3-for-4 with an RBI, including a single that tied the game at 5-5 in the seventh inning of a 7-6 conference win over Ramapo. Dorsey capped the week with a 2-for-3 showing in a 10-2 victory over the Roadrunners to complete the sweep, going a combined 5-for-7 with two RBI and two runs in the NJAC doubleheader.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Senior • Pitcher • Clifton, N.J. / Passaic County Tech
Pareja claims NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors after throwing eight innings of scoreless ball in Kean's NJAC-opening 12-2 victory over New Jersey City University on Saturday. He scattered five singles and issued just one walk while striking out five, holding the Gothics to a .179 batting average on the day.

O'Brien earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after going 8-for-20 with eight RBI and seven runs scored in a 4-0 week. He posted three hits and three RBI against DeSales before delivering his best performance in the first game of Montclair State's NJAC-opening doubleheader against Stockton, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored. He added two more runs and two RBI in the nightcap to help the Red Hawks to a sweep, going a combined 5-for-10 with five RBI and six runs in the NJAC doubleheader.

Shaw is named NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week after tossing six innings of scoreless ball in Kean's 13-2 victory over Alvernia on Thursday. The freshman right-hander scattered four singles and issued just one walk while keeping the Warriors off the scoreboard throughout his outing.
