Montclair, NJ- Announced on Wednesday morning by D3baseball.com, Montclair State University senior Colin Dowlen earned his spot on the Team of the Week for his performance in his season opener.
 
Dowlen opened up the season with a tremendous outing for Montclair State to help give them a 5-4 win on Friday against UMass Dartmouth. In six innings pitched, he allowed just one hit and walked only one batter, while punching out nine, tying a career high.
 
Colin adds this honor along with the NJAC Pitcher of the Week accolade he earned this Monday. It is also his first recognition by D3baseball.com
 
The Red Hawks are scheduled for a weekend showdown against #9 Salve Regina. The first of their three-game series is set for 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, at Yogi Berra Stadium.
