Rowan's Patterson, TCNJ's Santiago Earn First NJAC Men's Cross Country Weekly Honors of 2025

PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its men's cross country weekly honors for the week ending Sept. 1.
 

RUNNER OF THE WEEK
COLIN PATTERSON • Rowan University
Junior • Barrington, NJ / Haddon Heights
 
Patterson opened his junior campaign in style, earning NJAC Runner of the Week honors with a lifetime-best performance at the Salisbury Fall Classic. Patterson covered the 8K course in 25:14.70, taking first place overall and leading Rowan to a strong team showing in its season debut.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JOSH SANTIAGO • The College of New Jersey
Freshman • Old Bridge, NJ / Old Bridge
 
Santiago collects the first NJAC Rookie of the Week award of 2025 after a standout collegiate debut at the Blue/Gold Invitational. Santiago ran 16:08.10 over 5K to place fifth overall, while also serving as the fifth scorer for TCNJ to complete a team sweep of the top five spots.
