RUNNER OF THE WEEK
RYAN PENA • Ramapo College
Senior • Hackensack, NJ / Hackensack
 
Pena collects NJAC Runner of the Week honors after paced Ramapo at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational hosted by Vassar, clocking a time of 19:16.2 to finish second overall in a field of 108 runners. He led the Roadrunners to a fifth-place team finish out of eight scoring squads in the 6K race.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ANDREW SCALERCIO • The College of New Jersey
Freshman • Middletown, NJ / Middletown North
 
Scalercio is named NJAC Runner of the Week, becoming the second Lion this season to do so. He was the top Division III freshman finisher at the Herb Lorenz Invitational, placing 11th overall with a 6000m time of 21:00.50. The only freshman to finish ahead of him came from Division II Goldey-Beacom.
