Ramapo's Peter Gorman, Stockton's EJ Matthews-Spratley Add ECAC Honors

PITMAN, NJ --- Ramapo's Peter Gorman and Stockton's EJ Matthews-Spratley added another honor to their postseason tallies, this time as First Team honorees on the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII Men's Basketball All-ECAC Team.

Gorman was also named NABC All-America Second Team, NABC All-District Region 4 First Team, NJAC Player of the Year, NJAC First Team All-Conference, D3hoops.com All-Tournament Team and Hampton Inn Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team this season. He led the Roadrunners this season in scoring with 617 points, 22/points per game, which is second all-time in a single season in program history. Gorman shot 47% from the field (204-434), 42% from the three-point line (68-160) and 85% from the free throw line (141-165). He tallied 125 rebounds, 90 assists, 37 steals and three blocks. He finished with 1,696 career points which is third all-time in program history. Gorman recorded 19 20+ point games and four 30+ point games this season including his career high of 39 points.

Matthews-Spratley set a Stockton record by averaging 22.9 points per game and finished the season with 642 points, which is the second highest total in program history. The guard sank 94 three-pointers, which is the third most ever at Stockton. He reached the 1,000-point mark for his career during Stockton's game at New Jersey City on February 5. Matthews-Spratley scored at least 20 points in 18 of his 28 games played, highlighted by five games over 30 markers. He went off for 41 points against Gettysburg on January 4 and 38 points versus Montclair State on February 8. Those totals tied for second and tied for sixth in Stockton history respectively. Matthews-Spratley led the NJAC in scoring and free throw percentage and finished second in three-pointers, sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.364), eighth in minutes played (31.9 mpg), tied for eighth in assists (3.2 apg) and 10th in assist/turnover ratio (0.9).
