WEST WINDSOR, NJ - Kelly Williams, Director of Athletics at Kean University, was recently inducted into the Mercer County Basketball Hall of Fame.
Williams was honored this past Saturday as part of the sixth induction class.
He began his playing career at Ewing High School, where he was a member of the 1,000-point club, scoring over 1,200 points, and earning a spot in the school's Hall of Fame.
Williams' coaching career includes over 200 wins with stints at Mercer County Community College and The College of New Jersey, where he earned NJAC Coach of the Year honors.
Recently his philanthropic efforts include a donation to MCCC in honor of his parents and subsequent naming of the David and Willie Mae Williams scoreboard.
