She contributed to the attack as well, tallying four assists in conference play, tied for the second-most among defenders in the NJAC. Overall, she recorded 13 points on three goals and seven assists while registering seven conference shots with five on goal.

In conference play, Racey was even more dominant, leading all NJAC goalies with three shutouts and posting a remarkable 0.48 goals against average, the lowest in the league. Her .850 conference save percentage ranked first among league goalies as she made 17 saves in six games. She compiled a 5-1 NJAC record, allowing just three goals all season in conference play.
Kowalczyk made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning NJAC Rookie of the Year honors with a spectacular first season.
