PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its women's cross country weekly honors for the week ending Oct. 5.

Senior • Blairstown, NJ/Pope John XXIII
Pagano snags her third NJAC Runner of the Week award after she turned in the top NJAC performance at Lehigh's Paul Short Run, finishing eighth overall in the Women's White 6K race with a 6K time of 21:14.10. The senior led the Profs to a 20th-place team finish with 666 points at the highly competitive meet.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
TEAGAN WALKER • The College of New Jersey
Freshman • Ewing, NJ/Ewing
Walker is named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the second time in three weeks. In the enormous field of over 400 runners at the Paul Short Invite, Walker placed 126th overall in 22:58.8, outrunning the other NJAC freshman runners over the 6K course. The award marks the third consecutive Rookie honor for the Lions’ program.
