KANSAS CITY, MO - Rowan's head men's soccer coach Scott Baker and staff have been recognized as the 2024 Region IV Staff of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches.
Baker, along with assistants Mike Ossowski, Connor Hurff, Kevin McCollick and Cris Vaccaro, led the Profs to their second NJAC Championship in three years and made the fourth NCAA Championship appearance in the last five years.
Rowan went 12-5-5 overall, and 7-0-2 in the NJAC to clinch the conference's regular-season crown. The 12th-ranked Profs put together an eight-game winning streak to end the year, while notching seven shutouts, and defeated Montclair State for the NJAC title. The Profs' winning streak ended in the the NCAA First Round against Vassar.
Baker and Rowan's assistant coaches were named the 2024 Jeff Haines NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year while the Profs picked up three of the league's top awards for players and saw seven earn All-Conference honors.
