GALLOWAY, NJ --- Rowan finished runner-up in the team standings to lead the NJAC at the NCAA Metro Region Championship at Stockton University on Saturday.
In additon to the Profs' second place finish, TCNJ and Stockton were among the regional top 10 with fifth and sixth place finishes, respectively. Ramapo placed 11th, and Kean, Rutgers-Newark, and Rutgers-Camden rounded out the regional top 20.
Moravian won the Metro Region team title, and Rowan will now await the NCAA selection show for a possible at-large bid.
A total of 15 NJAC runners finished in the top 35, garnering All-Region honors. Rowan led the conference with six All-Region runners and TCNJ placed five in All-Region status. Ramapo, Rutgers-Camden, Rutgers-Newark, and Stockton had one All-Region honoree each.
