Stockton's Ahmad Fogg Named G. Larry James Most Outstanding Athlete to Headline NJAC Men's Indoor All-Conference Team

PITMAN, NJ --- Stockton University junior Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) has been selected as the NJAC’s G. Larry James Most Outstanding Athlete to highlight the 2025-26 NJAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field All-Conference Team.

Additionally, The College of New Jersey sophomore Maxim Rychkov (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville) was named Outstanding Track Athlete; Farmingdale State College junior Adonias Mercado (Hillsdale, NY/Taconic Hills Central) was named Outstanding Field Athlete; and Rowan University freshman David Brown (Edison, NJ/Edison) was named Rookie of the Year. Rowan head coach Dustin Dimit and his staff were voted as the Oscar Moore Coaching Staff of the Year by their peers.

All-Conference honors were determined by finish at the recent NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championship and major awards were voted on by the league’s nine head coaches.

Fogg had a dominant championship weekend, winning both the long jump and triple jump and adding medals in two other events. He set a championship record in the triple jump with a mark of 15.17 meters, breaking the previous record of 15.10 meters set by fellow Osprey Jared Lewis in 2016. His triple jump ranks second in Division III this season. He also set a championship record in the long jump with a leap of 7.54 meters, bettering the previous record of 7.42 meters set by Montclair State’s George Alexandris in 2019. That mark ranks fourth in NCAA Division III this season. Fogg added a sixth-place finish in the 60 meter dash (6.95 seconds) and tied for sixth in the high jump (1.92 meters) in a busy meet for the second-year Osprey.

Rychkov claimed the 60-meter dash title in record-setting fashion, clocking a championship record time of 6.72 seconds that ranks tied for fifth in NCAA Division III this season. He first surpassed the previous record of 6.78 with a 6.75 in the preliminaries before lowering the mark again in the final. Rychkov also finished as runner-up in the 200 meters in 21.23 seconds — a time that also came in under the previous championship record of 21.34. He contributed to two scoring relays for TCNJ as well, running on the 4x200-meter relay that placed second in 1:26.32 and the 4x400-meter relay that finished fourth in 3:25.09. Nationally, Rychkov ranks fourth in the 200 meters and tied for 16th in the 400 meters this season, while TCNJ’s 4x400-meter relay — of which he is a member — ranks fifth in Division III. He was a three-time NJAC Track Athlete of the Week during the 2025–26 indoor season.

Mercado swept the throwing events at the championship, winning gold in both the shot put and weight throw. He won the shot put with a mark of 16.30 meters, the top throw in the conference by a comfortable margin, and captured the weight throw by over a meter with a toss of 16.81 meters. He ranks 25th nationally in the shot put this season and leads the Metro Region, and he ranks second in the Metro Region in the weight throw.

Brown had a breakout rookie season capped by a championship meet gold medal in the high jump. He cleared 2.09 meters to win the event at the NJAC Championship, a mark that ranks in the top five nationally in Division III this season. Earlier in the season, Brown cleared 2.19 meters, which tied for the third-best mark in NCAA Division III history and is the best indoor high jump ever by a Division III freshman. That clearance currently leads Division III this season. Brown was a two-time NJAC Field Athlete of the Week and two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week this year.

Dimit and his staff of Eric DuBois, Norm Tate, Milton Goode, John Oberg, Jassina Surles, Joseph Kalnas, Miles Voenell, and Francis Terry were named Oscar Moore Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the Profs to the team championship with 265 points. Rowan won six individual golds and three relay golds, capturing wins in the 60 meter hurdles, 200 meters, 800 meters, mile, high jump, pole vault, 4x200 meter relay, 4x400 meter relay, and distance medley relay. The 4x200 meter relay set the NCAA all-division record by over a second, as the Profs became the first-ever squad any NCAA division to run sub-1:24. Rowan also swept the top six spots in the 60 meter hurdles.
