RUNNER OF THE WEEK
SHANNON STAKELBECK • Rowan University
Senior • Toms River, NJ/Toms River East
 
Stakelbeck has been named NJAC Runner of the Week after leading Rowan to the team title at Stockton's Osprey Open, placing third overall in 22:32.8 over 6K. The senior was the top NJAC and Division III finisher in the race, posting the fastest 6K time by any runner in the conference this past weekend.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ALEXIS SMITH • The College of New Jersey
Freshman • Clifton, NJ/Clifton
 
Smith earns NJAC Rookie of the Week after finishing eighth overall and as the top freshman in the field at the DeSales Invitational, clocking 24:04.2 over 6K on the hilly Center Valley course.
