Cooper opens the countdown at No. 70 on the NJAC's 70-in-70 list. A two-time cross country All-American, Cooper was a three-time NJAC individual champion and three-time NJAC Runner of the Year, capping her career as the 2019 NJAC Female Athlete of the Year. She is one of just two athletes in NJAC women's cross country history to win the conference individual title three times. She also earned All-American honors on the track in the 3,000 meters.

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the New Jersey Athletic Conference, the NJAC will name its Top 70 Student-Athletes in the 70-year history of the conference. All selections were made by a panel comprised of current and former athletic administrators, current and former athletic communications personnel, conference office staff, and media. Consideration was limited to full-member institution student-athletes who competed in sports currently sponsored by the NJAC.
