TCNJ & Rowan Headed to NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS --- A pair of NJAC programs will open play in the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship this weekend, as conference champion TCNJ and at-large selection Rowan each host first- and second-round pods.

TCNJ (16-2) earned its 15th consecutive NJAC title last weekend, defeating Rowan 10-7 in the championship game. The 14th-ranked Lions have been selected as a host site for the fifth consecutive season and will welcome No. 16 Messiah and Worcester State to the Lacrosse & Field Hockey Complex in Ewing. TCNJ received a bye to Sunday's second round and will face the winner of Saturday's Messiah-Worcester State first-round game. Both games are scheduled for 1:00 PM.

The Lions are making their 40th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and own 13 NCAA championships, the most in Division III history.

Rowan (14-4) received an at-large bid and will host Scranton and St. Mary's (MD) at the Rowan Soccer and Lacrosse Complex in Glassboro. Scranton will face St. Mary's (MD) in Saturday's first round at 3:00 PM with the winner advancing to meet the 17th-ranked Profs in Sunday's second round at 3:00 PM.

It is the 13th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and the second consecutive year Rowan has qualified. The Profs finished as NJAC runner-up and reached the conference title game for the fifth straight season.
