PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its softball weekly award winners for the final week of the 2026 regular season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
AVA FISHER • Rowan University
Sophomore • IF/DP • Blackwood, NJ / St. Joseph's
Fisher has been named NJAC Player of the Week after batting .714 with 10 hits, six RBI, five runs, two doubles and a home run in a 4-0 week for the Profs. The sophomore went a combined 5-for-6 with four runs and three RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Rutgers-Newark on April 21, going 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI in the nightcap. Fisher then went 5-for-8 with three RBI, including her NJAC-leading seventh home run of the season, in a doubleheader sweep at Ramapo on April 27.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
ELIZABETH GOSSE • The College of New Jersey
Senior • Pitcher • Manahawkin, NJ / Southern Regional
Gosse earned NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors after going 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA across two appearances totaling 9.1 innings. The senior's signature performance came in TCNJ's regular-season finale against Montclair State on April 24, where she threw a complete-game shutout — her fourth of the season — striking out a season-high seven batters on five hits in a 1-0 win that clinched the Lions a home game in the NJAC Tournament. Gosse also eclipsed 400 career innings pitched and 250 career strikeouts in the effort.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CAMRYN HARRY • Stockton University
Freshman • Infield • Swedesboro, NJ / Paul VI
Harry claims NJAC Rookie of the Week recognition after batting .571 with eight hits, five doubles, a triple and four RBI in a 4-0 week for Stockton. The freshman hit safely in all four games, highlighted by a 3-for-5 effort against Rutgers-Newark on April 24 in which she drove in three runs, doubled twice and tripled. Harry also went 3-for-6 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Kean on April 21.
ROOKIE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
JORDAN TARABOKIA • Montclair State University
Freshman • P • North Brunswick, NJ / North Brunswick
Tarabokia has been selected as NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week after posting a 0.54 ERA across two starts and 13 innings of work. The freshman was dominant in her first outing, tossing six innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts in an 8-0 shutout at Ramapo on April 21. She followed that up with seven innings against TCNJ on April 24, allowing just one run on eight hits while striking out two in a 1-0 decision.
