PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its final men's soccer weekly honors for the 2026 regular season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ZAHRA-DEEN AMADOU • Rutgers University-Newark
Freshman • Forward • Jersey City, NJ/William Dickinson

Amadou has been named the final NJAC Offensive Player of the Week of the 2026 regular season after scoring both goals in Rutgers-Newark’s 2-0 win over Kean to conclude regular season play. The freshman netted the game-winner and added the insurance goal, putting two of his three shots on target. The Scarlet Raiders followed with a 3-2 win over New Paltz in the NJAC quarterfinal round on Saturday. Amadou wrapped up the regular season leading all NJAC players in conference-only points (18) and goals (8).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MIKE MOORE • Rowan University
Freshman • Goalkeeper • Toms River, NJ/Toms River East

Moore earns the final NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the 2026 regular season after posting a shutout in No. 6 Rowan’s 4-0 win over Rutgers-Camden in the regular season finale. It was the freshman’s eighth solo shutout of the year and the Profs’ ninth overall. Moore finished the regular season having allowed just 11 goals in 16 total matches for Rowan (12-1-3), and ranking third among NJAC keepers with a 1.02 conference-only goals against average.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
FINN McCARTHY • The College of New Jersey
Freshman • Defender • Tinton Falls, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy

McCarthy claims the final NJAC Rookie of the Week award of the 2026 regular season after helping TCNJ complete the first unbeaten regular season in program history. The freshman scored his first collegiate goal in a 1-1 draw with Stockton that clinched the Lions’ No. 3 seed in the NJAC Tournament in Wednesday’s regular season finale. He helped a back line that kept the Ospreys off-kilter, forcing nine of the 12 shots to go wide. He went on to play all 90 minutes of a 1-0 shutout win over Ramapo in the NJAC quarterfinal. McCarthy played every minute of the week as TCNJ allowed just one goal, and the Lions remain one of three undefeated teams in Division III.
