Five Earn NFCA All-America Honors, 24 Named All-Region as NJAC Softball Players Haul in Postseason Honors

BLOOMINGTON, IL -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2025 Division III postseason awards, with five NJAC athletes taking All-America honors and a total of 24 earning All-Region honors.

Rowan’s Rylee Lutz earned a spot on the All-America First Team as an at-large pitcher. Teammates Payton MacNair and Liz McCaffery were voted on to the Second Team while Rowan’s Emily McCutcheon along with Stockton’s Nerina Tramp were selected to the Third Team.

Lutz and McCutcheon earn the prestigious honor for the second time while MacNair and McCaffery take home the award for the first time.

All four Profs earned All-NJAC and NFCA All-Region honors to help lead the Profs capture the NJAC Title as well as the NCAA Glassboro Regional and Glassboro Super Regional to punch its ticket back to the NCAA Championship Finals for the third-straight year.

Lutz, who earned a third-team selection in 2023, currently owns a 21-1 record with a 0.86 ERA. The senior has 108 strikeouts in 136.1 innings with 15 complete games and 10 shutouts.

McCutcheon scores her second-straight third team accolade as she too has a 21-1 record with a similar ERA (0.87) along with 15 complete games and 10 shutouts as the junior had 73 strikeouts with only seven walks in 137.2 innings.

MacNair leads the squad with a .441 batting average, adding 49 runs, 16 doubles, 41 RBI's, 19 walks and has a 1.000 fielding percentage at shortstop for the fifth year.

McCaffery's 64 runs, 70 hits, six triples, three home runs, and 26 stolen bases are tops on the team as the senior is batting .414.

Tramp becomes the first All-American in Stockton program history. The two-time reigning NJAC Pitcher of the Year ranks in the top 30 in NCAA Division III in eight categories. She sits third in WHIP (0.74), sixth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (9.19), 11th in hits allowed per seven innings (4.34), 14th in complete games (20), 16th in ERA (1.23), 17th in shutouts (7) and walks allowed per seven innings (0.82), and 29th in strikeouts (147).
