Rowan's Asanji, Stockton's Calambas Earn NJAC Men's Soccer Weekly Honors

PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its final men's soccer weekly honors of the 2025 regular season.
 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Asanji is named the final NJAC Offensive Player of the Week of the 2025 season after netting the crucial equalizer in Rowan's 2-1 victory over TCNJ in the regular-season finale. After the Lions took a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute, the junior defender scored in the 72nd minute to help the Profs secure the #3 seed in the NJAC Championship. It marked Asanji's second goal of the season. Asanji saw action in 12 regular season games as a defensive reserve.

Senior • Defender • Galloway, NJ/Absegami
 
Calambas earns the final NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season after a strong two-way performance in Stockton's 1-1 draw with Kean. The senior defender scored the Ospreys' lone goal while anchoring the back line in the conference matchup. With the tie, the Ospreys secured the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament and a first-round bye. Calambas has been a big component of the Stockton defense that has allowed the second-fewest goals among all NJAC teams this season.
